Fire rated door manufacturer, DOORTAL completed the whole PYROPLUS range in partnership with third party certifying laboratories in order to validate the door sets resistance to fire characteristics. Well-conceived, the PYROPLUS door can combine the highest levels of fire resistance, thermal insulation rating and acoustic rating.

In addition to the PYROPLUS range, the design and technical team is able to create customized fire rated doors according to specific requirements. On demand, we can provide you solutions for special furniture, architectural integration, fitting in drywall, etc.
Those adjustments are validated by an approved laboratory in order to maintain the door sets fire rating.
Our whole PYROPLUS product line is certified with special laboratories, validating the door sets resistance to fire characteristics, in appliance with the new Europeans standards EN 1634-1. The European standards define two fire ratings for door sets: (All DOORTAL fire rated door sets have both these ratings)
The DOORTAL fireproof steel door is proven to have superior quality in the steel fireproof door market. It includes a steel tubular frame exclusive to Doortal, the 1.5 mm or 2 mm thick leaf with internal reinforcements as well as strong hinges with stainless steel ball bearings grade 14 according to EN 1935 standard. Thanks to their galvanized steel composition, the fire doors are protected against the risks of corrosion. The PYROPLUS fire door has an optional thermo-lacquering and is classified as C5 - high durability according to the EN 12944-6 standard.
Made of galvanized steel, PYROPLUS door sets are protected from rust with weather seals fixed on all four sides in order to be completely watertight. They are suitable for interior or exterior use. Coated with an optional powder coating, the PYROPLUS fire door has a C5 anticorrosion classification according to the European EN 12944-6 standards.
Acoustics specialist since 1994, DOORTAL has also designed a high performance acoustic fire rated door. The seals that are exclusive to the PYROPLUS range ensure a double seal between the leaf and the frame. Designed in specific materials, these gaskets withstand very high temperatures and are suitable for fitting 2 hours fire doors.
PYROPLUS is also an armoured fire door. Indeed, by integrating steel armouring and other internal reinforcements combined with high-performance insulating materials, DOORTAL has successfully developed several models of fire doors with burglary resistance ratings from CR2 to CR3 and optional A2P CR3.

The door unit is installed in a support wall, which is itself installed on the front face of an oven with an internal temperature close to 1000°C for a defined time, from 30 to 120 minutes.
Depending on the type of premises, in particular public buildings (theatres, museum, hospitals, etc.), the regulations define a certain time for fire resistance.
As for all DOORTAL door sets, fixing the fire resistant doors is simply achieved by screwing the frame in place (reveal fit) followed by a silicon seal on each side. We call it the Chrono’FIX® concept.
They are fitted without mortar or rabbet.
The furniture is also factory-fitted which guarantees “on site” functioning.
